Highly textured painting created using cold wax medium and oil paint. 

This painting captures the feel of the first snow as it leaves a soft gentle blanket over the fields of flowers, 

It has texture created with a palette knife and by scratching back into the wax and oil paint. 

12x12x1"  Painted on a birch cradled panel.  Edges painted a soft gray-blue. Wired ready to hang.
