Introduction to Cold Wax and Oil - Feb 21

Join us for a relaxed and inspiring one-day workshop exploring the rich, expressive world of cold wax and oil painting. This hands-on session is perfect for curious beginners and experienced painters alike who want to loosen up, experiment, and discover new ways of working with texture, layering, and mark-making.

You’ll learn the fundamentals of cold wax and oil techniques, including surface preparation, layering, scraping, and building depth and atmosphere. With guided demonstrations and plenty of individual support, you’ll be encouraged to follow your intuition and develop your own visual language.

✨ All supplies are included — oil paint, cold wax medium, tools, and painting surfaces — so you can simply show up and create. Expect a supportive, playful environment with time to explore, ask questions, and leave with finished (or beautifully in-progress) pieces.
